In terms of population, Japan is the tenth largest country in the world with more than 127,340,000 people. Of this number, 98.5% are native Japanese, 0.5% are Chinese, and 1% are from other ethnic backgrounds.

Russia

The largest country in the world according to land area, Russia is the ninth most heavily populated country. It has more than 143,400,000 people spread throughout thirteen nations. Of this number, 81% are native Russian, with the rest of the population comprised of Tatars, Ukrainians, and various other ethnic minorities.

Bangladesh

The Asian country of Bangladesh is often mistakenly thought of as part of India, but it is actually a distinct country all its own. It has a population of more than 152,518,015 people, the majority of which speak Bangla, which is the country’s official language. Of this population, 98% are Bengali with the remaining 2% comprised of people of different ethnic backgrounds.
